This is a very large set of resources to introduce and practise the topic of healthy lifestyle. The lengthy PowerPoint initially introduces a set of vocabulary related to healthy and unhealthy lifestyles, with some practice activities to follow. It then goes on to introduce ‘man muss’, ‘man sollte’ and ‘man darf nicht’, ‘man sollte nicht’ and combines this with the infinitives and vocabulary previously presented. There are a range of activities to follow, including a writing activity, listening, a gap fill and a translation. A grammar section follows introducing general adverbs and adverbs of time / frequency and how to add them to a text with exercises to follow. Some of the exercises throughout this PowerPoint are divided into option A (easier) and option B (more challenging). There follows a variety of different exercises (including reading comprehensions, match ups, grammar and a writing activity with help sheet) and a second listening activity. All answers appear on the PowerPoint. Following this there are photo card activities with example answers and a range of photos for class speaking or writing work. This is aimed at Year 9 and/ or GCSE students. In all there are over 24 different activities and the PowerPoint is 107 slides long. To accompany the PowerPoint there are two worksheet documents (one includes all activities and option A only, and the second is the same but with option B) for all the activities, which are easily editable. There is also a printable help sheet for one of the writing tasks. Pupils will gain an excellent knowledge of a wide range of ways healthy and unhealthy lifestyles can be presented and practised, and will be confident to recognise and use them in a range of situations.

Easily adaptable for home learning. This PowerPoint introduces pupils to a total of 36 items of clothing. The clothes are introduced in 3 sets of 12 items of clothing. In each set there is plenty of practice of each item. Pupils are able to practice answers to question about what they wear and what other people wear/ are wearing (present tense only). There are various activities for them to complete and a lengthy worksheet that accompanies the PowerPoint. Also enclosed in the pack is a word search document. After practicing all of the clothes, the PowerPoint revises colours and goes on to explain adjectival colour agreements with lots of examples. There is a table that pupils can copy or it can be printed, as a reference for all future work with colour adjectival agreements. There is then a range of exercises for pupils to practice talking about clothes and colours. This is a tried and tested method to ensure and check the comprehension throughout.

There is a lengthy PowerPoint (76 slides) that covers initially 1 – 10 and then 11 – 20, followed by lots of practice activities. The numbers up to 100 are then introduced in stages. The PowerPoint has a whole range of activities, which are accompanied by a 6-page worksheet, a word search sheet and a Sudoku sheet. The activities include sums, number patterns and sequences, match-ups, true/false activities and oral practice. There are two lengthy Power Points which will take several lessons to complete. By the end, pupils will be able to understand and successfully form the perfect tense of avoir verbs, both regular and irregular, as well as all être verbs. The Power Points can be used for pupils to create accurate grammar/ resource notes in their books, which they can then refer back to when working individually to form the past tense. On each PowerPoint there are lots of exercises for pupils to complete in order to check comprehension. A comprehensive worksheet accompanies each of the Power Points. There are also three further worksheets with exercises that could be used as class or homework and will indicate the pupils’ ability to understand and form this tense. French New GCSE Theme 2 – Local, national, international and global areas of interest, Topic 1 - Home, town, neighbourhood and region. This covers the whole of Theme 2, Topic 1. The PowerPoint is very lengthy (69 slides) and contains work for certainly six or seven lessons. The PowerPoint is broken down into four sections: 1) Grammar; 2) Listening; 3) Reading and Writing; and 4) Speaking. There are several different worksheets to accompany exercises on the PowerPoint, as well as a transcript for the listening and answer sheets also appear on the PowerPoint. Based on the new specifications of exam boards for French GCSE, I have produced 40 different photo cards, all have 5 questions and are a range of questions to cover both foundation and higher tiers. The cards cover all 3 themes and all sub-themes. The questions are based on information from several exam boards. The assessment criteria for AQA, Edexcel and WJEC are included on the mark schemes document.

This is a set of resources to introduce and practice telling the time in German, both with the 12 and 24-hour clock. The PowerPoint initially introduces the o’clock times with practice opportunities and then goes on to minutes past the hour. There are plenty of speaking practice activities, true/false activities and writing practice. The PowerPoint then goes on to minutes to the hour with practice and then further practice of all the 12-hour clock and some O/X games that can be played in two class teams. The 24-hour clock is then introduced with a whole range of practice activities, as with the 12-hour clock. To accompany the PowerPoint there is a worksheet for all the 12 activities, which are easily editable. Pupils will gain a good knowledge of telling the time in German, and will be able to both recognise time and tell the time.

Easily adaptable for home learning. This is a set of resources to introduce describing others and oneself. There is a lengthy PowerPoint (76 slides) that goes through describing height, build, hair and eyes with reinforcement activities, match up activities, gap fills, translations and reading comprehension. It then goes on to introduce 16 characteristics with match ups, snake sentences and reading comprehensions. The final activity is the creation of a wanted poster for students to complete. There is an 8-page worksheet that accompanies the PowerPoint. These resources are enough for several lessons and start from introduction through to pupils confidently using all of the new language, creating whole descriptions of themselves and others.

Pupils will gain a good knowledge of a wide range of places in the town, and will be able to recognise and use them in a range of situations. The PowerPoint introduces the places of work with practice exercises. The PowerPoint goes on to practice working hours, full/part-time, activities in a job, liking/disliking a job and so on. The wide range of activities includes match-ups, gap-fills, reading comprehensions, translations, choosing the grammatically correct sentence and describing photos. Pupils will gain a good knowledge of a wide range of jobs and places of work, and will be able to recognise and use them in a range of situations. The work in this pack of resources will certainly cover several lessons.

This is a set of 30 role-plays in a printable format to use for mock/ preparation/ class practice for speaking exams. These are all based on Theme 1 – Identity and Culture and have been compiled by studying exemplar materials given by all exam boards. There are 15 foundation tier and 15 higher tier role-plays. There is a teacher’s pack for each set of role-plays, giving the teacher’s part for each conversation. There are also two PowerPoints, one for the foundation role-plays, one for the higher set. Each PowerPoint starts with an explanation of the role play section of the exam and then shows each role play card, followed by showing the (!) unknown question so that students can also prepare for that/ start to predict what the unknown question could be.

This pack has two Power Points that explain how to put present tense verbs in to the negative form. The first PowerPoint goes through forming the negative with n'/ne and pas for all verbs, except reflexives. It then goes on to introduce ne ... rien/ jamais/plus/que. Each section has a range of exercises to complete and there is a worksheet to accompany the PowerPoint. These exercises include transition exercises, important to start early on, ready for the new GCSE specifications. The second PowerPoint follows a very similar format for reflexive present tense verbs and has exercises to complete. Again, there is a worksheet that accompanies the PowerPoint. These presentations compliment my Present Tense Verbs resources, following a tried and tested method.
